Road Detours and Construction Alert
Northbound US-131 will completely close at 28th Street in April. Entrance ramps to northbound U.S. 131 will be closed from 44th Street to Market Avenue. A single lane will remain open from Burton Street through the downtown area so that some traffic can pass through.
US-131 from 28th Street to Pearl Street will have lane closures for the entirety of the project due to joint repairs.

CPEs for 2024 Annual Conference
You will earn SCECHs/CPEs based on the sessions you attend. Attendees will have to complete and turn in the SCECH/CPE form included in their conference bag to receive credit. Boxes for completed forms will be located near MSBO registration in the Center Concourse at the Amway.
- 50 minutes = 1 CPE
- 60 minutes = 1 SCECH. SCECH credit is rounded down to the quarter hour. There is a maximum of 19.25 SCECHs that can be earned.

Q1: Is there a virtual option for this conference?
A1: There is not a virtual option for the 2024 Annual Conference. It will be great to see everyone in person!
Q2: Will there be limited class sizes?
A2: We do not plan to limit the class sizes and will do our best with spacing.
Q3: When is onsite conference registration open?
A3: Conference registration is at the Amway Grand Plaza Hotel, and here are the hours:
- Monday, April 22: 5:00 – 7:00 pm
- Tuesday, April 23: 7:00 am – 7:00 pm
- Wednesday, April 24: 7:00 am – 5:00 pm
- Thursday, April 25: 7:00 am – 3:30 pm
Q4: How many CPEs/SCECHs can I get?
A4: You will earn CPEs/SCECHs based on the number of sessions you attend. Attendees will have to complete the 2024 MSBO Annual Conference SCECH/CPE form which will be included in your conference materials. Be sure to indicate all sessions attended and turn the form in before you leave. You will receive an emailed Certificate of Completion for SCECH and CPE (CPA) credits.

Q5: Where should I park at the Amway Grand Plaza Hotel?
A5: Amway Grand Plaza Hotel Parking (availability and pricing are subject to change):
- How much is parking for registered hotel guests?
- $45 per night for self-parking $41 per night for valet parking (Both allow 24-hour in-and-out access).
- Are both valet and self-parking available?
- Valet and self-parking are available to overnight guests. Valet parking is located in the motor lobby off of the Pearl Street entrance. Self-parking is available in the Amway Grand Parking Ramp. The Amway Grand Parking Ramp entrance is located on the corner of Pearl Street and Monroe Avenue.
- Where is the motor lobby/main hotel entrance located?
- If heading south on Monroe Avenue, make a right onto Pearl Street to locate valet and self-parking. If headed north on Monroe Avenue, make a left onto Pearl Street to locate valet and self-parking.
Q6: Is other parking available?

Q7: What is the attire for the Conference?
A7: The attire is business casual.

The Amway Grand Plaza Hotel in Grand Rapids will serve as host hotel for the 85th MSBO Annual Conference & Exhibit Show – April 23-25, 2024. Room blocks for this year’s conference are sold out. Rooms may still be available at the following hotels. They will not be available at the MSBO rate and are available outside of the MSBO room block.
