After careful consideration of all of the highly qualified applicants, the MSBO Nominations Committee nominated four candidates for two (2) open Board of Director positions, each with a three-year term. There will also be one candidate for the open President-Elect position.
This year’s Nominations Committee includes MSBO’s Immediate Past President Julie Omer, President Mary Beth Rogers, President-Elect Stephanie Weese, and the two most recent active past presidents willing to serve on the committee, Dena Mayer, and Bill Chatfield.
For President-Elect (One-year term):
- Julie Williams-Muz, Bay-Arenac ISD
For Board of Directors (Three-year term):
- Anthony Bertucci, Marquette-Alger RESA
- Kendra Messing, Croswell-Lexington Schools
- Penny Morgan, Crestwood School District
- Tim Peraino, Kent ISD (Incumbent)
The election will be held electronically and will begin on Wednesday, April 3, 2024 and end on Wednesday, April 17, 2024 at 3:00 pm. Candidate profiles will be posted on the MSBO website in early February.
