MSBO Investing in MSBO Members Scholarships 2025

Purpose and Intent: To provide opportunities for professional development to individuals currently employed in school business to improve their skills and competencies in school business management.

Introduction to School Business
September 23-24, 2025 • Kellogg Hotel & Conference Center, East Lansing

Scholarship Application

Random Selection will be made after the deadline. A total of six scholarships are available.

The deadline to apply is September 4, 2025.

Required Criteria for all scholarships:

  • Must be an MSBO member

 

Additional Criteria
Preference will be given to smaller school districts/PSA and districts under financial stress. Engagement in MSBO. Recommend attending MSBO committee meetings virtually or in person related to your functional area.

Costs Covered:

Scholarships include the registration fee, but do not include expenses for travel, meals, or accommodations.

Note:

Applicants may also apply for the MSBO’s Stebbins Scholarship, which can be used for school business related professional development. Criteria can be found on the MSBO website. Deadline is January 31, 2026.
