The MSBO Nominations Committee nominated five candidates for three (3) open Board of Director positions, each with a three-year term. There will also be one candidate for the open President-Elect position.
Following is the candidate slate for 2025:
For President-Elect (One-year term):
- Sharon Raschke, ED.D., CFO, Senior Project Manager, Dexter Community Schools
For Board of Directors (Three-year term):
- Matthew T. Hess, COD, CTD, Executive Director of Operations and Transportation, Caledonia Community Schools
- Kevin J. Kolb, CPA, CFO, Associate Superintendent of Finance, Gratiot-Isabella RESD (Incumbent)
- Teri L. Les, CPA, CFO, Assistant Supt., Finance and Operations, Oakland Schools
- Kendra Messing, BOM, CPO, HRS, Business Manager, Huron ISD (Incumbent)
- Richard Webb, CTO, Director of Information Technology, Kenowa Hills Public Schools
The election will begin Wednesday, April 9, 2025, and end on Wednesday, April 23, 2025. Candidate profiles will be posted on the MSBO website in February. A MSBO Meet the Candidates Forum will also be taped and available for viewing in March.
