The MSBO Nominations Committee nominated five candidates for three (3) open Board of Director positions, each with a three-year term. There will also be one candidate for the open President-Elect position. Following is the candidate slate for 2025.

- Sharon Raschke, ED.D., CFO, Senior Project Manager, Dexter Community Schools
For Board of Directors (Three-year Term/Three Open Board Seats):
- Matthew T. Hess, COD, CTD, Executive Director of Operations and Transportation, Caledonia Community Schools
- Kevin J. Kolb, CPA, CFO, Associate Superintendent of Finance, Gratiot-Isabella RESD (Incumbent)
- Teri L. Les, CPA, CFO, Assistant Supt., Finance and Operations, Oakland Schools
- Kendra Messing, BOM, CPO, HRS, Business Manager, Huron ISD (Incumbent)
- Richard Webb, CTO, Director of Information Technology, Kenowa Hills Public Schools
The election will begin Wednesday, April 9, 2025, and end on Wednesday, April 23, 2025. A MSBO Meet the Candidates Forum will also be taped and available for viewing in March. As a reminder, using the MSBO listservs for any campaign purposes is prohibited.
