The MSBO Business Manager Academy (BMA) offers a comprehensive and practical learning experience for MSBO members who want a thorough understanding of school finance. This program is specifically structured to provide “hands-on” training and in-depth knowledge relevant to the field. MSBO collaborates with experienced business managers, both past and present. These experts share their knowledge and real-world experience.
NOTE: Cohort size will be limited. Apply early to avoid being placed on the waiting list.
The Business Manager Academy provides:
- Online technical content provided for advanced self-study
- Facilitated “in-person” work sessions designed to foster skills through “real-world” case examples
- Individual mentoring opportunities to allow for personalized professional support
Two Options:
- Virtual – (Meet twice a month from August-June – 3 hours each meeting) • View Agenda
- Hybrid – (Genesee Career Institute – August-November: Meet in person once a month from 9 am – 3 pm; December-February: Meet virtually twice a month from 9 am – noon; March-June: Meet in person once a month from 9 am – 3 pm. ) • View Agenda
