Standing Committees

In accordance with MSBO’s Bylaws, Standing Committees are appointed by the President each year.

Bylaws and Resolutions Committee

Makes recommendations on proposed amendments to the Bylaws at the annual meeting. It also receives and considers all resolutions. The chair makes an oral report to the membership at the annual meeting.

Election Committee

Conducts the annual election in accordance with the Bylaws. The chair makes an oral report to the membership at the annual meeting.

Financial Review Committee

Meets with the auditor and reviews the annual audit and auditor’s recommendations. The chair submits a written report of the audit findings to the Board of Directors and makes an oral report to the membership at the annual meeting.

Nominations Committee

Membership shall consist of the MSBO President, President-Elect, Immediate Past President (Chair), and the first two (2) other most recent Past MSBO Presidents that are active members and willing to serve on this committee. The Committee selects and presents nominees for elected positions to the membership. The Chair makes an oral report to the membership at the annual meeting.
