Active members were invited to vote in the 2025 MSBO Board of Directors election. There were three (3) open Board positions, each with a three-year term. There was one candidate for the open President-Elect position. The election was conducted April 9-23, 2025.
On April 3 when the election was launched, 3,450 eligible voters were sent email invitations to participate in the election. By the close of the election, 926 confirmed votes (26.84% of those eligible) had been cast.
Congratulations to the following candidates who were elected:
President-Elect (1-year term):
- Sharon Raschke, ED. D., CFO, Senior Project Manager, Dexter Community Schools
MSBO Board of Directors (3-year term):
- Kevin Kolb, CPA, CFO, Associate Superintendent of Finance, Gratiot-Isabella RESD
- Teri Les, CPA, CFO, Assistant Superintendent, Finance and Operations, Oakland Schools
- Kendra Messing, BOM, CPO, HRS, Business Manager, Huron ISD

The 2025-26 MSBO Board of Directors will take office at the closing general session of the MSBO Annual Conference on Thursday, May 1, 2025.
