Keeping track of the core training requirements schools must provide to their employees is often a challenging task.
MSBO and SET SEG have joined forces and developed the Guide to Compliance Training for Michigan School Employees, which was recently updated. The guide is a tool to help schools identify the training requirements that must be provided to employees.
In an effort to make this guide as user friendly as possible, training is separated by subject and by employee group. The required training listed in the guide also includes the governing reference, the training schedule and the instructional courses available to help schools meet compliance obligations.
This guide provides information of a general nature and is not intended to be fully comprehensive, or to provide legal advice. The training outlined in this guide should always be evaluated and customized to fit each school district’s needs and specific exposures.
