June 9 – 30, 2021
Early Bird Pricing (Ends Wednesday, May 26): $205 members/$310 nonmembers
Regular Pricing: $230 members/$345 nonmembers
It’s that time of year again! The end of the fiscal year is right around the corner. This year’s BM/CPA Workshop agenda addresses the issues that are relevant and the issues you need to prepare for the year-end audit AND your budgeting for FY2021-22.
There will be “live” online sessions and pre-recorded on-demand sessions. Registrants will have the opportunity to gain multiple continuing education credits. If you did not attend the MSBO Annual Conference, you will have access to many of the critical financial sessions.
A “super session” will focus on the CARES Act funding, specifically ESSER funds. This will include perspectives of auditors, the grants department of MDE, and the state aid school finance department of MDE. This will be the most comprehensive and up-to-date information on this topic!
An “Early Bird” Governmental Accounting and Auditing Update will be INCLUDED with the general session registration. No separate rate or registration! This update provides as much “new” content that you would get in our regular, full day in-person event and added access to “bonus material” from our annual conference for those that may not have attended that event.
The June 9 “live” session starts at 7:30 AM and ends at noon. It will be recorded. Pre-recorded sessions will also be available on June 9. All sessions will be available through June 30 to give you plenty of time to view.
Some of the topics that will be covered include:
- Coronavirus Relief (CRF) Funds, ESSER I, ESSER II, ESSER III “SUPER SESSION”
- Audit Alert and Audit Manual Update
- School Aid Update
- Fund Balance Strategies – A Review of GASB 54
- Federal Procedures Manual and Policy Writing
- Legislative Update
