Robert Dwan has been named Deputy Executive Director of MSBO effective July 2019. Bob joined MSBO in November 2008, serving as Associate Executive Director focusing on school finance and the business operations of our member school districts. He also serves as liaison with the state agencies on school business matters and managing MSBO products, services and professional development in school business and finance.
“I look forward to Bob continuing his leadership in serving MSBO members,” said David Martell, MSBO Executive Director. “He has been a great resource to us here at MSBO, but more importantly, to our members in Michigan’s schools.”
Bob’s primary areas of responsibility will continue to be assisting MSBO members with school finance and business operations and processes, as well as working closely with MSBO Executive Director David Martell to continue to develop strategic programing for MSBO members.
After 10 years of serving members of MSBO in his current capacity, Bob looks forward to the next 10 years of innovative service delivery to members and to continue his focus on preparing school business officials for the future of our industry.
Bob has obtained his MSBO Chief Financial Officer certification and ASBO International’s Certified Administrator of School Finance and Operations (SFO).
