110e – Van Andel Arena Tour
Description: The lines between technology and facilities have blurred considerably as we recognize how more and more building systems – from climate control to access control – are all running over a network. Schools are not unique. Large public arenas, for example, interact with multitudes of different customers every day, and much of that interaction is done digitally. They also have many spaces requiring climate control and security. How do they integrate their technology efforts with their facilities? Learn from the experts at the Van Andel Arena how they approach these issues to ensure everything interfaces seamlessly. We’ll also tour the arena to see where many of these operations take place.
