8:30 am – noon: iPad Basics and Beyond Bring your iPad with an associated iTunes account.
This workshop is designed for those new to using an iPad. Begin with basics: browsing with Safari, keyboard tips, and settings so the email foot doesn’t say “Sent from my iPad.” Learn to manage your calendar, view multiple calendars and delete email so it’s really deleted. Understand how to manage and install and delete apps and close apps from the active memory. Accessories such as Bluetooth keyboards and styluses will be featured. Finish by learning where to find the best free and inexpensive application and ebooks.

Lunch will be provided for those registrants signed up for the full day. Cost is $75 and seating is limited to the first 40 registrants.
